PARENTS WE NEED YOU!!

Please attend our next Pack 150 Leadership meeting on August 21st!  We need to elect our leadership and would like your input and help.

The meeting is Thursday, August 21st, at 7pm at the Blue Pepper (241 Commerical) in a private room.

If you ever thought about helping out our pack, we have many ways you can help.

  • There are single events that need to be organized & coordinated throughout the year--our fundraisers (both popcorn & spring flowers); Blue/Gold Banquet; Parade of Lights; the Pack Pinewood Derby; our Pack Service Project; our Pack's Summer Sports Program.
  • There is also our Pack's participation in District Events that needs to be organized & coorindated (Scout Expo; Cub Scout Olympics; Summer Camp Registration and the District Pinewood Derby just to name a few).
  • As well as other leadership positions such as Treasurer; Cub Master; Assistant Cub Master; and Committee Chair.

If you are interested in any one (or several) of these ways to volunteer your time to help the pack, then please attend the Leadership Meeting on August 21st.  If you are interested but unable to attend the meeting, then please email or call Dawn Wilson (email:  a034935@allstate.com; phone 503-371-5767) and let her know which position(s) you are interested in.

Even if you aren't ready to commit to volunteering right now, please come anyway.  We still need your input and vote.Smile

NEW SERVICE PROJECT!~Gracie's Place
We are teaming up with Troop 150 and the Lions (our sponsor organization) to collect needed items for Gracie's Place.
Family Building Blocks (Gracie's Place) helps more than 700 children a year, they work to break the multi-generational cycle of child abuse and neglect by providing services for high-risk families who have children six weeks to five years old.  The kids of Gracie's Place need our help.
The items we are trying to collect are toys, medium sized stuffed animals, gently used clothes and books.  Please start gathering these items together (and ask friends & family).  We will be having a Pack Collection Drive (date/time to be announced later) to drop these items off.
With our pack, the troop and the Lions Club working together we all can make a big difference.
THANK YOU!!
